Funeral Helper - About Us

We are a small private organisation based in the North East of the UK, we are former funeral directors that specialised in so-called  "alternative" funerals, we have also officiated at many funerals with varying degrees of involvement, from full control of proceedings to being an advisory only.

Funeral helper is administered from a small home office and is a collation of our past experience and accumulated resources into one easily accessible single informational resource. We are mainly self funded but we do have an affiliate with Amazon UK and Google ads which we use to help us with our hosting costs.

Funeral Inspiration

We especially hope this site will be a source of inspiration and empowerment to anyone who is bravely considering taking on a more proactive role when finding themselves in the sad position of arranging a funeral for a loved one.
